A fun contest with amazing prizes! It’s for the race goers that love to really “do up” their tailgate food & presentation and for those that just love to have fun at the Races.
There is no entry fee, the judging is fun and there are great prizes!

This year our celebrity chef judge is JASON DANIELS, chef at the newly remodeled Inn at Willow Grove.

Grand prize from the Inn at Meander Plantation is a two night stay including a dinner for two at their renowned restaurant. A truly Virginia experience at a historic inn just minutes from Montpelier.

Other Prizes include overnight accommodations at the Middleton Inn with dinner at the Blue Rock Inn, a gift basket from CASPARI and more.

The first Saturday in November always brings out the best of times in Orange Virginia! As we made our way around the Race course our judging team was blessed by excellent weather, outstanding food and great fun.
